What a fun week!
Cross country training is going well, we have some fantastic runners. Some of us are still working on our ability to pace ourselves.
We've watched Oat the Goat and discussed what bullying is and what we all can do to have a bullying-free school!
Yesterday was Norway day woohoo - ice blocks for the whole school! Thanks so much to the Baardsen family for sharing your special day with us and teaching us a little bit more about the big wide world. Tusen takk!! I will keep working on my pronunciation.
So special - today we were invited to Te Kakano to korero about the story of... In The Beginning. Rūma Tahi knew a lot about the story but we heard it in te reo māori this time and we could follow along as Whaea Trudie is a tino pai storyteller and we knew the names of the ariki already. We also started the conversation of Matariki. Check out this folder for some photos and videos.
See some of you at the disco! Have a great weekend.
Hello families! If you have a pic of the pet written about here email it through for our class display :)

My budgie Sunny is as quick as a cheetah. My budgie is as gold as Elizabeth’s crown. My budgie is so so loud. My budgie sleeps in until 10am in the morning. I miss Sunny.
My kitten Millie hunts like a lion. She is as bright as a star. Her nose is as pink as a flower. Her eyes are as green as grass. My kitten eats as fast as a cheetah. When I pick her up she scampers away.
