Te Aronui Term 1

The Common Room:
We have two rooms one of then is the common room.We use the common room the most because it has a bigger mat space and its were we meet every morning. This is my favourite room.
Te Ako Atea:
This room has more desks and tables and we
often do writing in there. I love having  two rooms.

Te Aronui Tests
So far we've done four tests. Two reading tests,
one maths test, one eastle. We have another
teacher helping us Miss Chambers. We have
another test today.

Te Aronui is a mix of two classes and four groups with 14 to 15
kids, the names are Papatuanuku, Tane Mahuta, Tumatauenga
and Tangaroa. I am a house leader of Tane Mahuta and Elias is
the deputy. We have a BIG duty as leader and the deputy - we
have to make our line straight, be a shield for our group, check
everyone is there, have discussions. Last week we won the
tally chart system that our teachers made.
The Common Room is the most common room where we always sit,
work, listen and sort all the stuff out as a big group.

Te Aronui Term 1.
This term Te Aronui have been sorted out in to
houses.
There is Papatūānuku,Tangaroa, Tūmatauenga
and Tāne Mahuta.
This year if houses be the quietest, show positive
behaviour or generally just be good then you get
points. At the end of the week whoever gets the
most points get to pick the game. Then at the end
of the term there is going to to be a surprise of what
we can do. Currently Papatūānuku and Tāne Mahuta
are in the lead!

The Country Fair
The country fairs are one of the most funnest
weekends I've ever had, we get to play carnival
games. My favourite games is the tombolo. You
pay about $5 for 3 tickets you pick the amount
of tickets you paid for out of the box and check if
you win a number if you do you win a bar of
chocolate it's so yum. Then there's heaps of rides
there all so fun. The CF is on the 16th March this
year.
